So, today it pretty much snowed from about 3:00 a.m. all day. I got up and shoveled early, then took Benaiah to the Math Contest at Rock Valley College. He did great, winning a 2nd place medal in the two-man competition and leading the 8 man competition to a first place.... So proud. The math ability must be from his mother.... While there, I finished A Game of Thrones. Really good and interesting book. Now I suppose I'll have to continue the series.

Congratulations to Benaiah and his teams. How did the rest of the kids do?

Well, I don't think they did all that well. I believe they got 4th overall in the division. Probably could have done a bit better but for some knucklehead moves by a few. (showed up late, missed the first question, didn't bring a pencil or calculator but still got 4th place). Sooo 'Lutheran'.
